Hopefully everyone is enjoying this great weather! Things are looking great (and busy!) as we begin the "home stretch" of this school year. Spanish 1: This week we are finishing house projects, which are due Tuesday. Don't forget to write your paragraph and turn in your "Casa de mis sueños" blueprint. This week were are doing a speaking test, then reviewing, then taking the chapter 6 test!Spanish 3: We are finishing up the last grammar point of this chapter, subjunctive with doubt/denial Monday and Tuesday, then reviewing for our Chapter 6 test on Thursday. We will also begin our last unit of the school year on Friday, which is the novel "La Catrina." Spanish 4: We are finishing up the story "La Vieja del Candilejo", then learning the compound tenses later this week. La Vieja/compound tense quiz is on Friday.
Spanish 3 and Spanish 4 are going on a field trip next Monday (April 19) to UMSL's Spanish Immersion day! Make sure you turn in your $5 and permission forms!
Also, this Saturday is Prom! I will see some of you there, as I chaperone every year. Please make responsible choices that night (and every day)!
