WOW! I can't believe we're at the end of the year.  Thanks to all of the students and parents that made it a great year.  Congratulations to all of my Superstars for the year and the lucky Superstar drawing winners.  A SPECIAL THANKS to all of the businesses who encouraged and rewarded my Superstars:  WEHRENBERG THEATERS, TGIFRIDAYS, APPLEBEES, CHEESECAKE FACTORY, and PIZZA HUT.

Hi.  Welcome to Mrs. Landman's class.  I teach United States History and American Government.  I am looking forward to having you in my class and learning as much from you as you will about history or government.  This will be my fifth year teaching at Francis Howell North High School.

A little about me:  I have a degree in history and government, graduated from law school and practiced criminal defense and/or criminal prosecution during the first half of my legal career.  After my twins were born, I went in to private practice part-time.  I decided to do a career change (although I maintain my law license I won't be able to represent you in any legal matter) and wanted to use my background to teach Social Studies, so I went back to school to become certified to teach.  My husband and I share our home with our three teenage children, our oversized golden retriever, and our cats.

I hope you find this website useful.  Check out the calendar for daily assignments, the FAQ sections to help you find answers to frequently asked questions, and the resources page.  Note: the time listed on my schedule is for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.  The Wednesday schedule varies because of homeroom and PLC meetings. See the FHN school website for the Wednesday schedule.  We have homeroom every Wednesday except for weeks when we have a 1/2 day in the schedule.

Let me know what I can do to help you have a successful school year!!!
